Amanza Village Tour - 24. Dezember 2016

Our expedition led us to the village of Amanaza, situated in Agba-Ekeoma within Ebonyi State's Ishielu Local Government Area. Amanaza boasts a serene ambiance and is home to locals fluent in the Eza Igbo Dialect.

Our group consited of five people, accompanied by a knowledgeable local with family ties to the village who guided our journey.

Our daytime excursion led us to the Ebony River, escorted by the village children who were our enthusiastic guides.

Upon arrival, our hosts offered us accommodations in their traditional hut and also provided the option of resting outside on bamboo beds. To keep us warm during the night, a comfortable fireplace was prepared within the hut. For those seeking a cooler sleeping environment, the choice to rest outside the hut was available.

The dawn brought a remarkable awakening for those who opted to sleep outdoors, woken up by the playful antics of the village monkeys.

The following morning, we indulged in the delightful experience of savoring fresh palm wine harvested that very morning from the nearby palm trees.

Our hearts were filled with joy and gratitude for the enriching encounter we had in Amanaza, cherishing the unique moments and warm hospitality extended to us by the villagers.
